Energy Audit

With Legislative Decree 102 of 4 July 2014, Italy has implemented the 2012/27/EU Energy Efficiency Directive: the national goal is to reduce 20 million Equivalent Tonnes of Petrol (TEP) of primary energy consumption by 2020. According to the Decree, organizations have an obligation to perform energy audits and are encouraged to adopt Energy Management Systems according to the ISO 50001 norms.

ECO offers a structured, phased service designed to provide organizations with:

  • assessment of compliance with the provisions of Leg. Decree 102/14;
  • an energetic analysis of the structure;
  • an analysis of possible efficiency and improvement measures and an investment plan.

– Inspection and sharing the information collected with internal staff;

– collection of environmental, structural and consumption data as well as utilities mapping data. Evaluation of devices/equipment/installations;

– preliminary analysis: assessment of consumption profiles and collected data, structuring of energy uses and consumption, identification of macro-anomalies.

Energy Walk: itinerant collection of further data, creation and drafting of energy balances, survey of buildings, definition of the base-line and possible other monitoring points;

EnPI (Energy Performance Index) identification: evaluation of the applicable efficiency measures (including the estimate of the return on investment time).

– Elaboration and presentation of the Energy Audit report and the intervention/investment plan.
